Chanetsa Inc. is a South African Law firm which has international competencies. The firm sets out to be a superior provider of legal services (the Services) in its areas of specialty, primarily in South Africa and in the rest of Africa (the Continent).

Principal

The principal of Chanetsa Inc. is Cuthbert K Chanetsa (Bert). Mr Chanetsa is a South African and international legal practitioner. He holds the qualifications of LLB and Juris Doctor, and is admitted to practice law in South Africa and the State of Illinois, USA. He is also admitted to the Bar of the United States Court of International Trade in New York.

Mr Chanetsa has served on the Standing Advisory on Company Law within the Department Trade and Industry under the Chairmanship of Judge Richard Goldstone. He is currently a Chairman of the Tax Board and is pending appointment to the Insider Trading Directorate within the Financial Services Board, having been nominated from within the FSB.

Mr Chanetsa is the author of numerous published articles on corporate and financial issues. He is a columnist with “Business Report” which part of “The Star” South African newspaper, focusing corporate dynamics including finance, corporate governance and shareholder issues. He also makes frequent presentations on these subjects within and outside South Africa.
